The news: Bartlett Report is launching. This is a new local news site for Bartlett, Tennessee.
What is this? Bartlett is in Shelby County, northeast of Memphis. This site is starting from scratch. There is no earlier archive on this domain, and this note does not recap events we have not reported.
What we’ll cover: The stuff that actually affects your week in Bartlett. That means:
- The City of Bartlett, including the Board of Mayor and Aldermen
- Bartlett City Schools
- Shelby County decisions that reach Bartlett
- Police and fire
- New businesses
- Roads
- Events and school sports
How we do it: We go straight to the source when we can. That means official agendas, meeting minutes, and public records. We tell you where every fact came from, and we link to it.
Why it matters: Local news is how you find out what the city is spending money on and what is changing down the street. Bartlett deserves its own news.
